How to Begin
Starting your commission is simple:

Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll respond with availability, pricing, and next steps.
A Gentle Conversation
We’ll talk through your vision — the mood, the feeling, and the heart behind the piece.
You don’t have to have everything figured out; I’m here to guide you.
This step helps me understand the story so the final work feels deeply personal.
Secure Your Commission
A 30–50% deposit reserves your place on my schedule.
Once your date is booked, I begin preparing your piece with intention and care.
The Creation Process
Reference Selection
You’ll share the primary photo(s) or I’ll help you choose the one that captures the most presence and emotional clarity.
Drawing with Intention
Layer by layer, the portrait grows — quiet details, subtle textures, gentle light.
Throughout the process, I may share small progress glimpses so you can witness your piece coming to life.
Sketch & Composition
I’ll create a soft, initial sketch to explore the mood and composition.
This is where the story begins to take shape.
The Final Unveiling
When the painting is complete, I’ll send a final image for your approval before sealing and preparing it for delivery.
This is often the most emotional part — seeing your story honored in a timeless way.
Receiving Your Artwork
Every piece is sealed, packaged, and shipped with great care.
You’ll receive a tracking number and guidance on how to display and care for your painting so it lasts for generations.
Local pickup may also be available.

Commission Availability
Because each work is created with deep attention, I take a limited number of commissions each year.
Early booking is encouraged if you need your piece by a certain date (holidays, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.).
